Honoring Our American Workers

On this first Monday of September, we dedicate this Labor Day Holiday to our American Workers. The hardworking men and women from the late 1800’s, organized by the labor unions, helped create the much improved working conditions we enjoy today.

PS: August quotes from George Washington, Nelson Mandela and Harriet Tubman.

LOVE of God and Country
“It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits…October 3, 1789 George Washington

Abide by code of HONOR
“As I walked out the door toward the gate that would lead to my freedom, I knew if I didn’t leave my bitterness and hatred behind, I’d still be in prison.” Nelson Mandela

PROTECT Freedom
“If I could have convinced more slaves that they were slaves, I could have freed thousands more.” Harriet Tubman
